background
I spent 10+ years in academia teaching and mentoring students to their futures in the arts. I had an active studio practice where I showed my work in museums, galleries, and public art exhibitions and I always loved visiting schools to meet with students, presenting at conferences, and giving talks about my practice.
I’ve also managed academic sculpture and ceramics studios, worked as a carpenter, and even ran a bike shop on Martha’s Vineyard for awhile.
UX is an exciting new challenge and I’m so glad to have the experience I do so that it can influence me as I move forward in this new path.
